The medical system cannot and will never be able to respond to your needs in a timely manner. If you want out of the misery of living with chronic pain you are going to have to take full responsibility.
I have helped many patients become pain free. It is not because I am that responsive to your specific needs. I don’t have the time. Take these guides seriously. The steps represent a sequence that has been successful for hundreds of patients. Go through all of the steps. Do not try to cut corners. The nervous system and your body take time to heal. Although many patients feel better within the first four to six weeks it takes about 18 months to progress through the whole process. Repetition is critical.
It is not a matter of “if” you get better it is “when”. The more you are engaged the quicker you will experience your improvement.
I am watching patient after patient become pain free. I recently had a patient after six months of going through the DOCC protocol experience complete resolution of his pain. He had been in pain in his upper and lower back for 30 years. I had a masters psychology intern with me this summer and the three of us just sat there stunned. He was ecstatic.
